Workout week 2 |Fitness journey |

Hello readers!

I hope you all had a great week and wonderful weekend, I know I did.

I spent my time cleaning up our yard and trying to keep myself busy and on the go. Last week I had very minimal back pain (if any at all) so I have been doing way more than I was a few weeks ago. Luckily I have amazing friends who have made and sent me pain relief mixures of essential oils that I use daily to help and control pain. I have become so interested and such a firm believer in essential oils and their benefits! Sometime soon I will probably be a crazy oil lady haha.

Anyways, I just ended my second week of working out and I have never felt better in my life! I am doing good of keeping and maintaining my weight which has always been a struggle along with powering through workouts 4-5 days a week! Body pain is gone, headaches are gone and I am not having anxiety at all so I honestly feel like a new woman!

I am seeing and beginning to feel physical changes in my body and I could not be more excited! I am fitting into jeans very well and filling them out in places I never have! I have been making changes in what I eat as well and that has helped so much. I am trying to continue my fitness journey without completely cutting out foods because I am not exactly trying to lose weight but tons and build muscle.

I use  BPI Sports Best Aminos with ice cold water  as pre- workout (muscle recovery) and Muscle Milk (32g Protein) with 8oz of Milk after each workout. I get both of these products at our local Walmart and so far I really like them!

Operation no more mom bod is still in action and coming in HOT!!!! Stay tuned for my next fitness update and monthly progression pictures!

Thank you for reading and I hope this is helpful to some of you to get the motivation to begin your own fitness journey! Have a great week and I will be back soon!

My first week of Workout/ Training.

-Happy Monday-

A week ago I took the plung and decided that NOW is the time to begin my fitness journey and I am so happy that I did.

I have always had a fear of workouts/ gyms and being judged because lets face it, when you are thin/small people belittle your fitness goals. At the same time I kind of just got to a point where I thought you know what f**k it either way people are gonna hate on it but at least I will be reaching my goals for ME!

My weight is the highest (non pregnancy) and I seem to be maintaining it well these days. I am not jumping into a diet or completely changing my daily eating habits but I am taking baby steps into having a healthier lifestyle.

Not only am I enjoying working out but my health has improved so much as well. My anxiety is hardly even noticeable, I am able to sleep with no sleep aid and my headaches and back pain has been reduced 95% along with the help of essential oils.

I can not wait to take weekly/monthly progress photos and see changes in my body and feel better about my physical appearance. My advice to you if you have been procrastinating working out, just DO IT! Take that leap and do it for you!

I will Blog meal prep ideas and Weekly Fitness updates, look forward to that! Also I have a lot of new Photography to share with you all so those posts will be coming soon! Do not forget to hit the like button and follow my blogging journey. I hope you all have a wonderful week. Thank you for stopping by!

Life update and Newest Photography| The Indie Chic Blog

– Hello everyone-

It has been a hot minute since I have been back and I thought, why not fill you all in on what I have been up to!?!

Since stopping all of my medications and trying more natural remedies for my  anxiety and pain I have been feeling 100x better! I am clear headed, at a healthy weight, happy and I recently picked up my Nikon DSLR camera again!

With all of the beauty of Spring blossoming  I recently booked a few sessions as well as just taking photos of what catches my eye and well…. although I am a bit rusty and I am still learning I was so please with the outcome of them all. I love the idea of being a non-traditional photographer and stepping out of the lines and going the extra mile that most do not even think of. Now, my photography is not for everyone and as I learned the hard way, not everyone will be supportive I will not give up on my dream of showing my clients their own REAL beauty.

I think one thing that sets me apart from all of the others is that I do NOT photoshop. I use very simple ways of editing my photos to show the real beauty of each individual session. The whole reason of my Photography name “Unlikely Photography” is because Unlike most other photographers I refuse to edit out what makes us beautiful as individuals and HUMAN! I do not take photos for perfection. I want to show the world as beautiful as I see it with a dash of creativity.

I stepped out of my comfort zone completely and I am trying new ideas/ photoshoots and editing and for a beginner I don’t think they turned out too bad! I know that my recent clients have been very pleased with their photos.

I am thankful that I never lost sight of what I really want and what I deserve. I am beyond blessed to be able to stay home with my children and have a job that I can respect myself for. Dreams do not come true if you do not work for it.

Please feel free to like, comment and share if you like my post as well as following my Blog. I am beyond thankful to all of my followers and viewers who have stuck around through my roller coaster life!

Goodnight.

Instagram Care Package | Sweet Friend | The Indie Chic Blog

Hello readers, I hope you all had a amazing weekend, I know I did!

Friday I received a wonderful package from a very sweet Instagramer who reached out to me in response to my posts on my page about pain. Her daughter suffers from the same bladder condition that I have and she very kindly spent a few days chatting with me about ALL of my body pain I have been having. Mostly neck and shoulder area and I have even been going to the Chiropractor… but I had yet had any sort of relief from the pain and swelling..

A Lady named Cheryl and Her daughter swear by Young living oils and she sent me some samples (peppermint and her own mix) alone with a sweet card pictured above. I have actually been feeling better after rubbing these oils on my pained areas and for that I am SO thankful.

This has really made me interested in investing in oils for myself and my family!

It is absolutely amazing that these women that I have never met took the time and sent me such an amazing gift.

I am excited to share how these oils help me and I hope to become more educated on oils and other Holistic remedies for myself and my family!

Thank you for stopping by my page and be sure to like and follow my blog to keep up with my ever random life.

My Path | The Journey ahead | Poetry | The Indie Chic Blog

Written by: Kasey Gruenewald

I have been walking down this path for a while feeling all alone in the middle of nowhere.

This path is overgrown and beautiful, although it is scary in the darkness.

Wherever this journey leads me just know that no matter how hard these battles are, I will always find my way.

She is the unknown | Beauty inside | TheIndieChicBlog

She lives her life in total chaos in her head, a hurricane of emotions over spilling her eyes.

She’s lost her directions and there is no map to help lead her the right way, she directs herselfby spirit and total faith.

She may not be much to many in the world but if they could she the beauty that she creates in her mind then maybe they would give her a chance.

Beauty is not what she is known for but it is completely within her from the inside.

One day she will shine her light….. and when that day comes everyone will understand why she is the way that she is.
