– Hey readers-
As promised in my previous blog I am back with a photography update and let me tell you I am in LOVE with todays session!
I have been racking my brain thinking of new ideas and trying not to fall off track of my own style of photography. When I start charging people for session I felt like I had to compete with other local photographers and no I do not think that my skills are ANY where near theirs but I was beginning to lose what made my photos MY style. After weeks of trial and error I finally nailed a session today and the photos came out so beautiful!
You may have noticed that I love outdoor photography but being new to my Nikon camera lighting and settings can be a hit or a miss. I have taken a lot of time researching and learning about my camera and for the most part I think it is paying off!
Today I had a session with a very beautiful Mom of two (you can’t even tell she ever had a child) yes I am jealous haha but our work together came out just awesome!
Below I will share some of my favorite shots from today!
Leesa is so beautiful and very talented with makeup as you can see! I look forward to keep working with her in the future and seeing what other style sessions we can capture.
I have a lot more models lined up for future sessions and I can not wait to share them with you all. Thank you for the love on my blog and Instagram! You guys are amazing and make me keep pushing for my dreams and goals.
Have a wonderful weekend and I will be back very soon.
– Hello everyone-
It has been a hot minute since I have been back and I thought, why not fill you all in on what I have been up to!?!
Since stopping all of my medications and trying more natural remedies for my anxiety and pain I have been feeling 100x better! I am clear headed, at a healthy weight, happy and I recently picked up my Nikon DSLR camera again!
With all of the beauty of Spring blossoming I recently booked a few sessions as well as just taking photos of what catches my eye and well…. although I am a bit rusty and I am still learning I was so please with the outcome of them all. I love the idea of being a non-traditional photographer and stepping out of the lines and going the extra mile that most do not even think of. Now, my photography is not for everyone and as I learned the hard way, not everyone will be supportive I will not give up on my dream of showing my clients their own REAL beauty.
I think one thing that sets me apart from all of the others is that I do NOT photoshop. I use very simple ways of editing my photos to show the real beauty of each individual session. The whole reason of my Photography name “Unlikely Photography” is because Unlike most other photographers I refuse to edit out what makes us beautiful as individuals and HUMAN! I do not take photos for perfection. I want to show the world as beautiful as I see it with a dash of creativity.
I stepped out of my comfort zone completely and I am trying new ideas/ photoshoots and editing and for a beginner I don’t think they turned out too bad! I know that my recent clients have been very pleased with their photos.
I am thankful that I never lost sight of what I really want and what I deserve. I am beyond blessed to be able to stay home with my children and have a job that I can respect myself for. Dreams do not come true if you do not work for it.
Please feel free to like, comment and share if you like my post as well as following my Blog. I am beyond thankful to all of my followers and viewers who have stuck around through my roller coaster life!

Hello readers, I hope you all had a amazing weekend, I know I did!
Friday I received a wonderful package from a very sweet Instagramer who reached out to me in response to my posts on my page about pain. Her daughter suffers from the same bladder condition that I have and she very kindly spent a few days chatting with me about ALL of my body pain I have been having. Mostly neck and shoulder area and I have even been going to the Chiropractor… but I had yet had any sort of relief from the pain and swelling..
A Lady named Cheryl and Her daughter swear by Young living oils and she sent me some samples (peppermint and her own mix) alone with a sweet card pictured above. I have actually been feeling better after rubbing these oils on my pained areas and for that I am SO thankful.
This has really made me interested in investing in oils for myself and my family!
It is absolutely amazing that these women that I have never met took the time and sent me such an amazing gift.
I am excited to share how these oils help me and I hope to become more educated on oils and other Holistic remedies for myself and my family!
Thank you for stopping by my page and be sure to like and follow my blog to keep up with my ever random life.

– Hey guys, I hope you all are having a great weekend as for me I have had a wonderful day. Today was the first day in MONTHS that I have been pain free and I figured after all of the cleaning, cooking (mom life) that I would sit down and play with some makeup.
I haven’t given up on my dream of someday becoming a Makeup Artist and I am slowly but surely getting back into the swing of it. I really hope to go to Cosmetology school soon so I can be licensed in makeup and hair. I do freelance haircuts and sometimes makeup on the side as well as photography so I figured if I were licensed I could begin doing Weddings, Events and well who knows. The whole license is not very important to me though because I know a lot of people who are makeup artist even without being certified so I guess I’ll just have to really think about it. What do you think about it? Drop your opinions in the comment section.
Also, I will have new photography coming soon so I am very excited about that as well and I am going to being stepping up my Photography skills and try some very cool ideas. I am also wanting to begin taking “photography” style photos of myself for my Social Media!!
I did a makeup look with some glitter tears the other day and I LOVE it, I’m not sure what it is about the glitter tears but I am obsessed and excited to try new makeup looks. I follow so many creative people on my Instagram so I am feeling very inspired and excited. If you are on Instagram follow me so we can become friends.
My Instagram account is the best way to keep up with all of the things that I create whether it be Makeup, Photography or well…. everything.
This Smoked out Cateye, glitter tears and black brows are my JAM and I feel fierce, grunge and beautiful. Let me know what you think of this look and if you have any makeup look suggestions, drop them in the comment section.
I love you all and I will be back very soon! Do not forget to like and follow. Xoxo

I have been walking down this path for a while feeling all alone in the middle of nowhere.
This path is overgrown and beautiful, although it is scary in the darkness.
Wherever this journey leads me just know that no matter how hard these battles are, I will always find my way.
